Once the form is filled and data sync happens with the Excel sheet, I always find the date visible in excel is one day in past. I have one calender field where user have to selected any date. I think they are represented by an asterisk when you right click the cell or column and go Format cells.Įxcel actually stores the date/time in a decimal number of days since midnight 01-01-1900 UTC in the backend, and your Excel app and also PowerApp is doing a calculation to display a human readable date based on its own time zone.Ĭurrently I have connected my app with the Excel file stored in OneDrive for business. In Excel there are various date/time format options, some of them respect the time zone of the client application and some display the actual date/time that was typed into the cell, I guess in the time zone of the user who typed it in, but really it's UTC.
